According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Jeff Jarrett has been making phone calls to free agents around the world and he has also been attending many meetings in regards to his new wrestling promotion. They report that country music star Toby Keith is the financial backer and Jarrett is confident that a deal will be finalized soon.
The newsletter also reports that at one point TNA was attempting to sell their company to Toby Keith and that the letter Janice Carter put out in regards to the TNA sale rumors a few months ago was not true.
Although it’s unknown how close the company is to launching Jeff Jarrett seems very optimistic about the future.
