Former WWE Superstar Alberto “El Patron” Del Rio recently did an interview in Puerto Rico and talked about receiving offers to return to MMA. Del Rio mentioned receiving offers from Bellator and UFC despite the fact that many outlets are insisting that UFC has not made an offer to him.
Bellator and the Glory kickboxing promotion have both made offers to Del Rio. Bellator and Glory both air on Spike TV but this is not a joint offer and the offers aren’t related to each other. Other unnamed promotions have also reportedly made offers including one other TV group offering big money.
Del Rio said he will only fight if he can make significant money and if the rumors are true, he will be able to make more money from MMA than pro wrestling in 2015, if he returns.
