Lana Issues Statement On Her WWE Release, Miro Reacts

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for WWE as the company has been letting a lot of people go due to budget cuts. Earlier today it was announced that Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Buddy Murphy, Santana Garrett and Ruby Riott have all been released.

Lana has been a mainstay on WWE programming for years, and after she was released she posted the following on Twitter:

“I will never forget the fans, and the love they showed me. Whether it was a tank, power-suits, flags, CRUSH, Rusev, 900 partners, weddings or tables: I tried to always entertain you, and you definitely elevated me. Thank you.”

Lana’s real life husband Miro also reacted to Lana’s release when he posted a tweet saying, “You can’t soar with the eagles if you’re hanging with the turkeys.”

Miro was released from WWE last year due to budget cuts. He currently works in AEW where he is the TNT Champion.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
