Next week the SmackDown brand will be moving to Friday nights on FOX, and the premiere is being promoted as SmackDown’s 20th anniversary episode.
Some big names are expected to be in the house, and ahead of the show WWE has announced that Kevin Owens will face Shane McMahon in a ladder match.
If Shane McMahon wins the match then Kevin Owens will stay fired and he will be forced to drop his lawsuit against Shane. If Owens wins Shane will be forced to leave WWE.
Other matches confirmed for the show include
Kofi Kingston vs. Brock Lesnar in a WWE Championship match, and Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks.
Names being advertised for the show include Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Trish Stratus, Booker T, Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler an more.
