Lacey Evans was called up to the WWE main roster a few months ago, and it’s clear that WWE officials are behind her, because she seems to be receiving a pretty significant push right now.
At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch made history when she won both the Raw and Women’s Championships and following the event she moved into a feud with Lacey Evans.
Feuding with The Man is a big deal for Evans, and she recently told Yahoo Sports that she didn’t find out about the feud until the day that she finally got physical with Becky Lynch the day after WrestleMania.
“Initially it started with the walkouts, but at no point did I have any idea what it would lead to. I didn’t find out until the day that I laid hands on Becky that there would be an angle. I didn’t expect anything, I just went to the shows ready to do anything that they needed from me. That’s what they needed and I took it and ran with it.”
