This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Glendale, AZ and it featured some big names such as John Cena and AJ Styles. However, LA Knight didn’t appear on SmackDown this week despite the fact that he was originally slated for the show.
Fightful Select is reporting that LA Knight was originally set to be part of the contract signing in the main event segment involving Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, John Cena and AJ Styles.
It’s being reported that LA Knight was pulled from the show due to a medical change. It was noted that Knight being pulled from SmackDown had nothing to do with Vince McMahon.
Plans called for LA Knight to be involved in the main event segment, but unfortunately Knight tested positive for COVID and had to leave the building shortly before SmackDown.
Stay tuned for more updates on LA Knight as they become available.
