In recent months LA Knight has become one of the most popular wrestlers on the Friday Night SmackDown brand. Knight was part of a high profile feud with Bray Wyatt on the road to the Royal Rumble earlier this year, and he’s been trying to work his way up the ladder in WWE.
LA Knight has been working as a singles wrestler ever since he arrived on the main roster, but it looks like he could be joining the tag team division.
WWE recently shook things up with the 2023 WWE Draft and The Street Profits were selected for the SmackDown brand. The Street Profits were interviewed on the latest episode of SmackDown LowDown, and they were confronted by LA Knight who said that he could beat The Street Profits with anybody.
LA Knight then called Rick Boogs and said that he and Boogs are going to be taking down The Street Profits. WWE then confirmed that LA Knight and Rick Boogs will team up to face The Street Profits on the next episode of SmackDown.
It’s not clear at this point in time if Boogs & Knight teaming up is just a one time thing, or if they could end up working together on a regular basis following SmackDown. Stay tuned for updates.
