Kurt Angle was lucky enough to achieve major success and main event some of the biggest shows in WWE and TNA, and he worked with a number of starts throughout the course of his career.
Back in 2017 WWE decided to pair Kurt Angle with Jason Jordan when the company launched a storyline which focused on Jordan being Angle’s illegitimate son. It seemed that WWE had big plans for the storyline, but it was nixed after Jason Jordan’s in-ring career was cut short due to injury.
Jason Jordan is currently working backstage as a producer in WWE, but Kurt Angle recently noted on the Kurt Angle Show that he thinks Jordan would have been a world champion if his career continued.
“It was limitless in what he could’ve done. I think he could’ve been a main eventer, I think he would’ve been a world champion. I think he was adapting really well to professional wrestling, I think even his character and his promo skills were getting better. I had a lot of hope for this kid and unfortunately, he ended up with a neck injury and that neck injury was really serious. It’s a shame that Jason Jordan couldn’t continue his career because I believe he would’ve been as successful as I was.”
