Kurt Angle has had an incredible career in the professional wrestling business, but at this point in time he’s no longer a full-time in-ring competitor.
Since returning to action in WWE, Angle has only been used as an in-ring performer sparingly, and eventually he will have to hang up the boots for good.
Angle recently hosted a Q&A session on his Facebook page, and a fan asked him who he would pick if he were told that he was only able to wrestle one more match.
“That’s tough. I see so much talent right now. It’s hard to pick one. AJ or Joe or Rollins or Bryan. Then you have Shaemus and Cesaro. Corbin. Gable and Jordan. I’d have to go with either Rollins or Bryan. Only because I’ve never wrestled them and I’ve had my eye on them for 5 years.”
The Hall of Famer was also asked to name his best year in WWE, but he couldn’t narrow it down to just one.
“From a championship perspective, 2000-2001. From a workhorse perspective, 2001-2006. Yes, all 5 years. Why? Because I was undoubtedly the best in WWE during those 5 years. I’m not bragging, I’m being honest. My only setback was the neck injuries.”
