Kurt Angle has done just about everything there is to do in the professional wrestling business, and he’s been hitting the ring as of late to prove that he’s still got gas in the tank.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently participated in a Facebook Q&A session, and when a fan asked him which NJPW star he would like to face he didn’t hesitate to name the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega.
“Kenny Omega. He’s got talent. Love the guy. Never met him though.”
Angle was also asked which NXT star he would like to face and he named Velveteen Dream.
“I met Velveteen Dream on an Indy circuit 4 or 5 years ago. I’m amazed at his progress. I’d love to have a match with him before I retire.”
Right now Baron Corbin is the acting General Manager on Monday Night Raw, and when Angle was asked if he’ll be getting his old job back he said that he doesn’t know, but he does want to wrestle more
“I don’t know. I do want to wrestle more. I just started wrestling again so it’s going to take a few matches before I get the kinks out, especially being older now. I’m hoping I get a little bit more consistent wrestling in the future. Either way, I love contributing. We will see.”
