Kurt Angle Reveals What Triple H Said To Him When He Asked About Wrestling In WWE Again

Kurt Angle is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st, and everyone’s wondering if he’ll be wrestling in a WWE ring again. Kurt seems to think it will happen and most fans do too, but WWE hasn’t given the Olympic gold medalist a definite answer.

Triple H was the man who informed Kurt Angle that he would be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year and Kurt says he called him in 2016. During a recent appearance on The LAW: Live Audio Wrestling, Kurt Angle said that he did ask Triple H about possibly wrestling again, and Triple H said it’s something the two will likely talk about after the Hall of Fame ceremony.

“Triple H called me. I actually spoke to him last year, we talked about doing some things with WWE. He said let’s put something together and I’ll give you a call back and I didn’t hear from him for about a year. He said hey, we want to induct you into the Hall of Fame and I obviously pushed him further and said what about a couple matches? He started laughing and said listen, don’t worry about that, let’s do the Hall of Fame, let’s focus on that and when it’s over, we’ll talk about that but right now, let’s just focus on the Hall of Fame.”

Kurt Angle has named Steve Austin, John Cena, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar as potential Hall of Fame inductors, but WWE has yet to announce who will be doing the honors. Angle admitted that the fans aren’t the only ones who are being left in the dark, as he doesn’t know who his inductor will be either.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I always thought that you got to pick. I do believe that WWE will listen to you and listen to who you would like to induct you but overall, I think they pick. I’m okay with that, I think they know who I like and who I had great programs with and who I got along with the most. I always through out there, I hope it’s either Austin, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar or John Cena so I would imagine it’s one of those four but I don’t know yet.”

Either one of those four stars would make great choices for Angle’s Hall of Fame inductor, so let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope one of them is able to step up to the podium on March 31st.
