2019 was an interesting year for Kurt Angle, as he wrestled his retirement match at WrestleMania 35 where he was defeated by Baron Corbin.
When Kurt Angle first returned to WWE fans had high hopes of seeming him face off against several of today’s top Superstars, but Kurt was only used sparingly in the ring.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently answered a few questions during a Q&A session on his Facebook page, and he noted that not wrestling was the hardest part of his comeback.
“Sitting on the sidelines and NOT wrestling. I would have preferred to wrestle first, then be the GM of RAW, then the HOF. But WWE had other plans. I’m grateful I was able to return so I can’t complain!”
Kurt was also asked to share his thoughts on Kane, and he had nothing but praise for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
“Glen is the most consistent superstar of all time. He’s been wrestling in main events for 25 years. A guaranteed HOFer. A legend.”
