Kurt Angle Reveals One Storyline He Was Not Comfortable With

Kurt Angle wrestled his farewell match at WrestleMania 35, and he finally ended his in-ring career. Throughout the course of his career Angle was involved in a lot of different storylines with some of the biggest names in the business, and he recently opened up about one of his feuds during a Facebook Q&A.

Angle was asked if he was ever pitched a creative idea that made him question whether or not he had to do it, and he noted that he was not comfortable with the storyline that involved him stalking Booker T’s wife.

“The stalking of Booker T’s wife Sharmell. I was not comfortable doing it. The whole storyline felt odd to me. But, I like challenges so I went through with it.”

The former WWE Champion was also asked who is the one wrestler he feels like he just missed, and he named fellow Hall of Famer Bret Hart.

“Bret Hart. I missed him by 18 months. He went to WCW from WWE and I eventually joined the WWE roster months later.”

When asked what role Seth Rollins would have taken during the Attitude Era, Angle said he doesn’t know, but he praised the current Universal Champion.

“I don’t know, but his in-ring skills would have put him near the very top of the roster. He’s really talented. Love watching him work.”
