Kurt Angle has had an interesting career with WWE as he returned to the company in 2017 for a Hall of Fame induction, and he later became the Raw General Manager. Angle wrestled his retirement match when he was defeated by Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35, and then he took on a backstage role with the company.
Unfortunately for Kurt Angle he was released last year when WWE released a number of talents and backstage workers citing coronavirus related budget cuts.
However, Angle noted during an episode of the Kurt Angle Show that he would be interesting in training wrestlers, and at one point Kurt Angle offered him a job training wrestlers in NXT.
“I would consider doing it, it’s something that I enjoy doing. Triple H offered me a job to train wrestlers, he wanted me to come down once a month to NXT. Nothing transpired from it but maybe in the future there might be some possibility. I like training people, I just don’t have a lot of time right now to do it, but I’m good at training people and teaching people stuff.”
