Kurt Angle quickly became one of the top stars in WWE shortly after he debuted in 1999 and he went on to have some classic matches in WWE and TNA. Angle’s feud with Shane McMahon is one that fans still talk about to this day and the former WWE Champion recently discussed the feud on The Kurt Angle Show.
While talking about possibly facing Shane McMahon again Angle noted that he was open to the idea. However, he also made it clear that his asking price is high when he said, “Oh man, that’s tough. It would have to be a lot of money man. I’m talking like $10 million [laughs]. WWE could afford it so.”
Kurt Angle last competed when he faced off against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Angle has remained retired, but he admitted back in August that he has since changed his mind on a potential return to the ring for one last match.
“I’ve told so many reporters and people from the news that I was done but there is a chance that I might end up coming back. I don’t know when, but it’ll probably be for one last match. I’m in no position to think about wrestling right now. It’s been two and a half months since I had my knees replaced. I didn’t wanna do that [wrestle] until my knees got better but I’m not gonna lie to you. I think about it all the time.”
