Back in September, CM Punk set the wrestling world on fire during the AEW All Out post-show media scrum when he took shots at Adam Page, MJF, Colt Cabana and The Elite. Punk and Ace Steel were then involved in a physical altercation with The Elite that led to several names getting suspended.
Kurt Angle shared his thoughts in the situation during an episode of The Kurt Angle Show and he noted that if that had happened in WWE then Vince McMahon would’ve, “lost his s***.”
The former WWE Champion also stated that what Punk did was inexcusable when he said, “I don’t know CM Punk enough to say what kind of person he is… I’d be willing to just say he’s a good guy, but what he did at that press conference was inexcusable.”
Angle went on to say that he understands why Punk was upset, but made it clear that he didn’t agree with his actions when he added, “It’s tough because I understand why he was upset… but the way he acted at the press conference, I don’t think was very professional.”
