Jason Jordan has been a big part of Monday Night Raw ever since it was revealed last summer that he’s Kurt Angle’s illegitimate son. Jordan had been teaming with Seth Rollins for a few weeks, and they even managed to win the Raw Tag Team Titles.
It seemed that Rollins and Jordan were building toward a feud, but unfortunately their feud had to be put on hold when it was revealed that Jordan had to undergo surgery to repair a neck injury.
Jordan is on the road to recovery, which means he won’t be wrestling at WrestleMania this year, but it looks like he may be returning to WWE sooner than later.
Kurt Angle recently answered some fan questions during a Facebook Q&A session, and he noted that he’s being optimistic, but he believes Jordan will be back shortly after WrestleMania 34. Angle estimated that the former Raw Tag Team Champion will be back in 6 to 8 weeks.
Jordan underwent surgery on February 6, and WWE didn’t give a timeframe for his return to the ring after the surgery was announced.
Normally after WrestleMania WWE shuffles the deck so to speak by calling up NXT stars and putting together new feuds, so hopefully for Jason Jordan’s sake he will be able to insert himself into the mix shortly after the Show of Shows.
