Kurt Angle had a long career inside the squared circle, but he officially hung up his boots after he was defeated by Baron Corbin on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 35.
In recent years there has been talk of Angle possibly working with AEW or WWE, and during an interview with WhatCulture he talked about what it would take to get him back on TV while confirming that both companies have made offers.
“I’m leaving it open. I’ve gotten offers from both companies [WWE and AEW], didn’t accept them, didn’t feel it was right at that particular time, but if they come up with something that I feel is worth it, I will do it.”
One way or another if Kurt Angle does ever decide to return to TV it will probably be a while before it happens as he recently confirmed that he’ll be undergoing double knee surgery soon. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
