A few months ago Kurt Angle wrestled his farewell match, and he was defeated by Baron Corbin on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 35.
Now Kurt Angle is working behind the scenes with WWE, and he was recently asked during a Q&A session on Facebook if he’s looking forward to working with Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff.
“Yes. They’re both very talented. It will help the company quite a bit.”
The WWE Hall of Famer was also asked if he still keeps in touch with the one and only “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and he had nothing but good things to say about the Texas Rattlesnake.
“Yes we do. I love Austin like a brother. We had incredible chemistry. He’s one of the few I keep in touch with. He helped me so much in my early years.”
Prior to his retirement Angle had a lengthy career in the professional wrestling business, and when he was asked if there was anything else he wanted to accomplish he indicated that he’s happy with the way things turned out.
“I pretty much did what I set out to do and I’m very content with my career. I wish I would have spent a few more years in WWE back in 2006 when I left, but it’s in the past now. I’m ok with my career.”
