The WWE Brand Split is returning and everybody’s talking about former stars possibly returning to the company. Kurt Angle recently did and interview with Mark Madden where he said that he recently spoke to Triple H and he will be returning to WWE at some point, he just doesn’t know when.
Angle said that he hasn’t been contacted about the WWE brand split, but he also noted that he spoke to Triple H before the brand split was announced. It was later reported during the week via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE would not be bringing Kurt Angle back.
Kurt Angle has commented on the reports and he once again reiterated that he has not spoken to WWE about the brand split, but he says that he is excited about his future. Angle posted the following on his Facebook page.
“In response to some of your questions today regarding the WWE, and all of the media fanfare about it the last few days, I want to, once again, say that our confidential conversation never discussed the brand split. A few wrestling sites seem to have put a spin on this by twisting some words around to fit their agenda, something that I have no control over. What I CAN control is my own life, and my life isn’t only wrestling. I do not expect to be in wrestling much longer. I AM excited about my future. Thank you.”
