Kurt Angle is making his return to WWE very soon. Although the WWE Hall Of Fame and WrestleMania Axxess are the only certain things in his future, fans are holding out for more Angle matches very soon. Many fans have formulated dream feuds of who they’d like to see Kurt scrap with on WWE’s current roster, and we’re sure there will be a line forming backstage if Angle makes an in-ring return.
Bobby Roode is an astute and observant individual. After all, they call him Glorious for a reason. Roode recently noticed how Kurt Angle was using his image from his “pre-glorious” days on a t-shirt and spoke up about it.
Kurt Angle responded in a friendly way, but it was wrapped around a veiled challenge. The Glorious One and The Olympic Hero have met in the past and they’ve never disappointed. If you’d like to see these two great wrestlers go at it, just watch their match from TNA’s Bound For Glory 2011 pay-per-view. That was actually a pretty good event and featured Sting beating Hulk Hogan by submission too.
But, there is good news because fans might not have to go back in time to see Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode collide. Because with Kurt Angle’s recent return to the WWE fold a collision between the two could be a future possibility. It wouldn’t matter what night of the week they met on, we’re sure it would be an epic contest.
Bobby Roode is the current NXT Champion, so he would have to jump to WWE’s main roster if he were to get ahold of Kurt Angle again. After all, we’re fairly certain Kurt Angle would make his return to Raw or SmackDown if he came back. But the idea of seeing these two great sports entertainers lock horns again makes us really happy, that’s for sure.
