The Attitude Era was full of interesting characters and it was also a time period where several memorable factions were formed. While some factions are remembered to this day for being fan favorites others are remembered for all the wrong reasons.
Back in 2000, Stevie Richards, Ivory, Bull Buchanan, Val Venis and The Godfather were put together in a faction known as Right To Censor. The group was supposed to be a parody of the Parents Television Council and the gimmick got major heat because people genuinely found it to be annoying.
During a recent episode of his Kurt Angle Show podcast Angle shared his honest opinion on Right To Censor while making it clear that he definitely wasn’t a fan of the gimmick.
“It was horrible. I’ll be honest with you, it got heat, but it wasn’t the right kind of heat. Those guys made me sick. Honestly, man, it just didn’t. I didn’t think it worked. You know, here they are with the button-up shirts all the way up to the top. And, you know, they’re like, I don’t even know what kind of gang they were. But it was just, you know, they looked like a bunch of office guys trying to wrestle. I don’t know, I didn’t like it.”
