Kofi Kingston Reacts To Major Botch At The Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble aired live from St. Louis on Saturday night and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. Over the years Kofi Kingston has been able to avoid elimination in the men’s Royal Rumble match by using some very interesting tactics, but Kofi’s highlight reel spot did not work out so well this year.

Kingston entered the Royal Rumble at number 24 and he was pushed off the top rope by Kevin Owens. The former WWE Champion landed on the barricade outside and it appeared as though he was trying to prevent himself from hitting the floor, but both feet touched.

Kofi Kingston made light of the situation when he posted the following on Twitter:

“Welp! 😂

“It is Better to Try and Fail Than Never to Try at All.”

-someone said this”

Unfortunately we’ll never know exactly what Kofi had planned, but there’s always next year.
