Earlier this month John Cena did the unthinkable when he finally turned heel at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. A few weeks ago Cena made his first post-Elimination Chamber appearance on Raw, and he absolutely unloaded on the fans in Brussels, Belgium. Cena even took it upon himself to single out one of his fans in the front row, and the fan’s reaction quickly went viral.
A video of the young fan explaining his reaction has recently been making the rounds on social media, and he noted that John Cena is still his hero despite the things he said during his promo.
“Basically, I was moved to hear his theme. I was in the front row and filmed it. And then he pointed at me, and for me it was a source of pride that he pointed at me because I didn’t know he was going to talk to me badly. And then I realized that he said: Toxic, dysfunctional. And I understood that he was in his character. But for me, John Cena is still my hero.”
John Cena is currently set to appear on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in London, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the former WWE Champion has to say.
The kid John Cena cooked in Brussels recently gave his reaction to that segment in a very sporting way
"John Cena pointed his finger at me & I was honored. I didn't know he was going to shit on me, but I understood he was in character. To me, John Cena will always be a hero." pic.twitter.com/Kt9wQRFnNz
