Nothing is confirmed, but the rumors are claiming that Bobby Roode will begin a new rivalry with Dolph Ziggler over the next couple of weeks. WWE officials are intent on booking Roode as a babyface, so a win over Ziggler will give him a boost before getting into a bigger rivalry.
According to PWInsider there is speculation that WWE officials are planning for Booby Roode and Kevin Owens to begin a rivalry shortly after Hell in a Cell. On paper, Owens will be able to do almost anything based on his momentum, so the powers that be might want to use him to elevate Roode.
Considering how both men have been wrestling for over 30 years combined, a feud between the two veterans could be something special. Roode will gain a lot of credibility as a babyface and Owens can continue to be the top heel on SmackDown Live. On paper, it’s a home-run.
