Kevin Owens has never been one to shy away from trolling on Twitter, and he didn’t hold anything back last night. On the other hand, WWE is no stranger to altering material to make their top stars look good, and they didn’t hold anything back either. Therefore, when these two facts collide it creates a rather entertaining social media storm.
Last night on Raw Goldberg challenged KO to a Universal Title match at Fastlane, and Chris Jericho accepted the match on his best friend’s behalf. This is no doubt a device to wedge an even deeper divide between KO and Y2J which will lead to a match at WrestleMania, but first Kevin has Goldberg to worry about.
Kevin Owens took to Twitter early this morning to start the verbal throw-down, but he directed his first shot at an unlikely source: the WWE’s official Twitter account.
When WWE’s twitter account sent out a message to promote the upcoming Universal Title Match at Fastlane, there was one glaring alteration that was performed on Goldberg’s face.
KO has never been a man to shy away from opinion so he let loose on Twitter in a way that only he could.
Whoever made the graphic for Fastlane’s main event match has either not seen Goldberg in quite some time, or he was simply following a foolish directive. Either way, they weren’t pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes, especially Kevin Owens. No matter how much they tried to dye it.
