The stars of the WWE are currently overseas entertaining fans in Europe, but two SmackDown Live stars have reportedly been sent home from the tour.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been sent home from the tour, and they left the tour this morning following their appearance on SmackDown Live last night.
Details regarding why they were sent home remain scarce, but for what it’s worth, two independent sources have said that they were sent home as some sort of disciplinary move, but PWS notes that they were unable to confirm if that is indeed the case.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a long running feud, but they are currently working as allies on WWE programming. Sami Zayn helped Kevin Owens pick up a big win over Shane McMahon at Hell in a Cell last month, and Zayn turned heel in the process.
Since then then the two SmackDown Live stars have been wreaking havoc on the blue brand every Tuesday night.
As of this writing neither Zayn nor Owens have been booked for the Survivor Series pay-per-view which is set to take place next Sunday.
Stay tuned for updates on their status.
