Kevin Owens has been in the ring with the best of the best, and the former Universal Champion has taken some brutal bumps over the years. This week on Monday Night Raw fans saw Kevin Owens face off against Bobby Lashley, and Owens crashed from the ring apron to the floor when Lashley moved as Owens attempted to hit him with a senton.
The landing looked pretty painful, and Owens later took to Twitter to note that the move destroyed him when he posted the following:
“I often get asked what hurt me the most throughout my career and there’s 2 specific things that always come to mind but as of last night, there’s a new answer to add to that list because for some reason, this absolutely destroyed me.”
Owens went on to share clips from the other 2 spots he mentioned in his tweet one of which featured a chokeslam from Braun Strowman on the steel entrance ramp, and another which showed him getting thrown back first into the ROH ring apron.
Big E will defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a four way match at the Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1. Stay tuned for updates.
