After Kevin Owens was defeated by Seth Rollins on Raw this week, he grabbed a microphone and said “I quit” before walking out of the arena.
At this point it’s unclear what the future holds for KO, but the night before SummerSlam he spoke to CBS Local Sports about WrestleMania 35, and who he could face at the big event.
The former Universal Champion noted that there are many people he wishes he could wrestle, but if he could choose his opponent it would be Finn Balor.
“There’s so many guys I wish I could wrestle, but if it was up to me, whatever I would do would lead to me and Finn Bálor at WrestleMania next year, because he and I came to WWE the exact same time,” Owens told me. “We didn’t know each other before we got there. We became pretty close pretty quickly when we did get to the NXT Performance Center. He’s been my best friend ever since, so I’d love to share the ring with him on that stage in WrestleMania.”
