On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, fans finally saw Kevin Owens for the first time since October when he appeared in a video announcing that he’ll be ready to return in one month.
The video showed Kevin Owens at a bowling alley, and before it was all said and done the former Universal Champion threw a bowling ball down a lane, but it went straight into the gutter.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens is supposed to be the anti-Mr. Perfect, and the idea is for him be portrayed as an every day guy who is a “complete unathletic clod.”
It was also noted that original plans called for Kevin Owens to return in April, but since Owens announced he’ll be returning in a month there’s a chance he could end up on the WrestleMania card.
