Kevin Owens will face Shane McMahon inside the Hell in a Cell next weekend to culminate one of the hottest rivalries on WWE programming. It’s been rumored that WWE officials are trying to set up another big match between Kevin Owens and HHH at Survivor Series in November.

Those plans would have kept Owens on SmackDown Live going forward. Eventually, it would likely lead to him getting into the WWE Title picture. However, the Wrestling Observer is now reporting WWE officials may be thinking about moving Kevin Owens back to Raw very soon.
There have been some rumors about another “Superstar Shake-up” taking place around the end of the year. Owens would likely be one of the top guys to move. WWE officials will need to move someone of equal value to SmackDown Live to compensate for Owens’ move.
With Owens on Raw, a rivalry with Triple H or a WWE Universal Title shot would showcase him as the company’s top heel heading into Survivor Series and into 2018. There’s a lot of speculation about what comes next for Owens after the feud with Shane McMahon is over, but now the WWE Universe has to wonder if he will be the next name to switch brands.
