This week on Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens faced off against Bobby Lashley, and after the match was over, Lashley turned heel and wrapped KO’s leg around the ring post to sell a knee injury.
WWE later noted on WWE.com that Kevin Owens was set to be evaluated, and it appears that he is actually injured.
John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting that the angle with Bobby Lashley was done to write Owens off TV so he can undergo surgery on his knee.
The report also notes that it doesn’t appear to be a major injury, and Kevin Owens isn’t expected to miss too much time.
