Kevin Owens Reportedly Confronted Vince McMahon At WWE TV Tapings

It’s been quite the year for the world of professional wrestling, and promotions all around the world have had to make some major adjustments.

It was recently reported that masks have become mandatory at WWE TV tapings, and talents who don’t wear masks will be fined $500 for the first offense, and $1,000 for the second offense.

During a recent episode of the French language podcast, Les anti-pods de la Lutte, host Pat Laprade noted that masks became mandatory after Kevin Owens confronted Vince McMahon at the July 3rd TV tapings.

It’s being reported that Kevin Owens told Vince McMahon he was uncomfortable with the lack of masks being worn, and with people being too close. KO then informed Vince McMahon he was going home.

After McMahon asked Kevin Owens what he wanted him to do, Owens told Vince that he’s the only person that people will listen to.

McMahon asked if instituting a policy which included fines would work, and Owens told him that he was once fined for swearing on SmackDown, and he never did it again.

After Kevin Owens saw that people were wearing masks and keeping their distance he decided to stay for the tapings, which included tonight’s episode of Raw.
