Kevin Owens has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now and he was originally set to face off against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. However, Owens appeared on last week’s episode and confirmed that he will be out of action indefinitely due to a neck injury. The former Universal Champion also confirmed that he will be undergoing surgery at some point due to the injury.

It was rumored that Kevin Owens underwent surgery on 4/7. However, Fightful Select is now reporting that they’ve confirmed KO’s surgery hasn’t taken place yet.

According to the report Kevin Owens is not expected to return to WWE in 2025. It’s being said that it’s quite possible that Owens will miss WrestleMania 42 next year.

Even though Kevin Owens is out of action indefinitely Randy Orton is still expected to step into the ring at WrestleMania 41 later this month. The Viper’s new opponent has not been confirmed, but the situation regarding Orton’s match at WrestleMania is expected to be addressed on SmackDown this week.
