Kevin Owens Helps Sami Zayn Win Match At WWE Live Event

Sunday night Kevin Owens faced off against Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match which also had a falls count anywhere stipulation, and in the end it was Kevin Owens who got the win. The ending was quite controversial, as Sami Zayn pulled Kevin Owens off the announce table, and after Shane McMahon came crashing down on an empty announce table from the top of the cell, Zayn placed on Owens on Shane and told the ref to count the pin.

The segment left fans with a lot of questions as to what the future holds for Sami Zayn, and the storyline continued Monday night during the WWE live event in Lansing. According to Reddit user therm0s_ who was in attendance for the show, Owens helped Sami pick up a win over Mike Kanellis.

“I was at the show. Owens came out to congratulate Kanellis on he and Maria’s future child, which allowed Zayn to get the win with the Helluva Kick. Owens came down to the ring to cut the promo and Zayn left without saying a word.”

Another fan noted that Sami Zayn was booed at the event.

We’ll be seeing more of this storyline tonight on SmackDown Live, but in the meantime you can check out video of KO’s promo that he cut after Sami Zayn’s match below.
