Kevin Owens been a major part of SmackDown Live for the past few months, but WWE recently announced that he will not be performing at live events in Argentina and Chile this weekend due to “personal reasons.”
WWE is dealing with a pretty big health scare at the moment and they recently issued a statement regarding the “viral infection” which is the apparent reason why Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns aren’t wrestling at TLC on Sunday night.
Kevin Owens took to Twitter to clarify that he’s not injured, and he’s not ill, his family just needs him right now, and he thanked WWE and the fans for understanding.
Kevin Owens posted the following:
Owens has been feuding with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon recently, and he defeated McMahon with a little help from Sami Zayn at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
Now that he and Sami Zayn are allies once again there’s no telling what kind of trouble they’re going to cause for Shane and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan in the weeks to come on SmackDown Live.
We wish Kevin Owens and his family the best.
