Kevin Owens Comments On WWE Sale Rumors

They say that anything can happen in professional wrestling and a few weeks ago Vince McMahon returned to WWE to pursue a sale of the company. Shortly after Stephanie McMahon resigned from her position as Co-CEO of WWE.

Kevin Owens recently spoke to San Antonio Express about Stephanie McMahon’s WWE departure and he noted that Stephanie was amazing to him throughout his run with the company.

“(Stephanie) has been nothing but amazing to me my entire time here. And I was so happy to see her more at the shows and get to be around her and get to work for her. Everybody’s also kind of happy that she gets to take this time for herself.”

While talking about a potential sale Kevin Owens indicated that right now the roster is simply focused on delivering in the ring when he added, “The internet will say what the internet will say, and then the reality will be what really matters. We just care about what we do in the ring. That’s what we try to do our best at.”

Kevin Owens will be in action this weekend when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
