The most recent episode of SmackDown Live was full of highs and lows. Daniel Bryan announced that he’s been cleared to return to the ring, which was a joyous moment for the fans, but by the end of the show Bryan was being carried out of the arena on a stretcher.
During the closing segment Daniel Bryan fired Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for attacking Shane McMahon last week, and that’s when they proceeded to destroy Daniel Bryan.
WWE is going all out this time around, as they recently removed Owens and Zayn’s profiles from WWE.com. Owens is also going all out to sell the story that he was fired, as he recently changed his Twitter name from Kevin Owens to Kevin Steen.
He also changed his handle to @FightSteenFight.
Despite the fact that Owens and Zayn were recently fired on TV, all signs point to the duo facing off against Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan in a tag team match at WrestleMania 34.
Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live that the rumored match may become a street fight, or an unsanctioned match.
With WrestleMania only a few weeks away, the match is expected to be confirmed sooner than later, so the next few episodes of SmackDown Live should be interesting to say the least.
