Kevin Owens has had his fair share of WrestleMania moments, and this year he got to be part of a major match when he main evented night one of WrestleMania 38 with the one and only “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
Last year fans saw Kevin Owens defeat Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 37 with Logan Paul at ringside. It seems that celebrity appearances are becoming more and more common at WrestleMania as this year Logan Paul teamed up with The Miz to face Rey & Dominik Mysterio.
During a recent appearance on After The Bell with Corey Graves, Kevin Owens noted that he doesn’t have a problem with celebrities getting in the ring as long as they respect wrestling, and he also challenged Matthew McConaughey to a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
“I remember not long after that [McConaughey attending a WWE show] he talked about how he’d love to do something in WWE. I don’t know him at all, but to me he seems like the kind of guy who would be coming in to do it right and have a blast. People like that are welcome in our industry any time. So yeah, if we’re speaking things into existence, WrestleMania 39, come at me, McConaughey, I’m gonna f*** you up!”
