Kenny Omega On What Makes Him Think Twice About Going To WWE

Kenny Omega is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world right now, and his level of popularity is quite impressive due to the fact that he wrestles for NJPW, not WWE.

NJPW’s fanbase is growing with each passing day, but there’s no denying that WWE has a much stronger presence on a global scale.

Nevertheless, Omega has decided to stick with New Japan Pro Wrestling even though there are plenty of dream matches he could have in WWE.

Omega is friends with quite a few WWE Superstars, and he’s been a big supporter of The New Day.

However, WWE’s treatment of The New Day is apparently one of the things keeping Kenny Omega from signing with WWE.

The New Day have received a very healthy push in the tag team division over the last few years, and they’ve made WWE a lot of money through their merchandise sales. But the lack of push to the main event, and lack of singles programs for Kingston, Woods and Big E has Omega second guessing a possible jump to WWE.

“It’s things like that that really make me think twice about what I would be getting into if eventually I do go there,” Omega told Sports Illustrated.

Despite the fact that they haven’t evolved over the past few years, The New Day are still one of the most popular acts in all of WWE. It seems that the company is going with the “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” approach when it comes to the trio.

Some would argue that the trio is in a good spot, and that they’re fine right where they are, but it seems that Kenny Omega would like to see more from the former Tag Team Champions.
