A lot of things can stand in the way of progress when you’re a pro wrestling star. Kenny Omega knows the sting of setback well, but hasn’t really tasted it very much recently. After all, even when he loses a match he still puts on a classic.
Omega recently went down with a knee injury and was pulled from most of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Destruction tour. NJPW confirmed an injury to his left meniscus but also said he would be back by the September 24th show in Kobe.
Kenny is set to defend his IWGP United States Championship against Juice Robinson at the Kobe show. Omega has never been one to miss out on a big match so he’s getting to work in a big way to get ready.
The Cleaner sent out a nice social media message with a picture of himself working through his injury. He said the road to recovery is short but it needs to be if he’ll be ready by the 24th. After all, Juice Robinson had one of the more impressive displays in the G1 Climax and those two will undoubtedly have a great match.
But first, Omega is going to work as hard as he can as fast as he can. Then he will get to Kobe where he will face Juice Robinson. But Kenny said he’ll be ready.
The Young Bucks love posting things on Twitter to give fans a look behind the scenes. Recently, the Bucks have been dropping hints about their good buddy Hangman Page because he has been missing.
WWE recently scheduled their Christmas Day Raw and sent out a cease and desist to The Bucks over them saying “suck it.” Nick Jackson commented about how WWE stole #FTR, Cody’s last name, suck it, Hangman, and now Christmas.
Since then the Jacksons have sent out a few messages with #WheresHangman attached to their post.
Now there is even more fuel for the rumor-mill because Nick also recently unveiled another social media message. Apparently, Hangman Page has some very interesting social media contacts now.
Only time will tell if this means Hangman is on his way to WWE. But it certainly might appear that way. Or at least that’s what they want us to think.
