Kenny Omega is all in with All Elite Wrestling. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion confirmed his status with the company at the Double Or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party on Thursday, and it looks like Omega is with AEW for the long haul.
Omega recently appeared on Wrestling Observer Radio and he confirmed that he signed a four year deal with All Elite Wrestling.
He also confirmed that his deal allows him to work with New Japan Pro Wrestling whenever he wants.
Omega also talked about his negotiations with WWE, and he noted that he has nothing but great things to say about the company.
“The most surprising thing to me was just how accommodating and how cool it was to discuss, you know, future with WWE” he told them. “I didn’t think they’d ever be in the running. I was like ‘yeah, I’ll hear you guys out’ but I didn’t think it’d be good because everyone was telling me, well, what to expect. I have nothing but great things to say about them. But in the end, AEW was the best thing for me and, you know, it’s the most exciting choice I’ve made in my career.”
