Keith Lee was called up to the WWE main roster last year, but he was unfortunately forced to sit on the sidelines for most of 2021 due to health issues. Over the last few months Keith Lee has been using the “Bearcat” nickname on Monday Night Raw, and the gimmick hasn’t exactly been well received by the fans.
On Thursday WWE released another wave of Superstars, and Keith Lee happened to be one of the names that got released. A fan commented on one of Lee’s recent Instagram posts claiming that the “Bearcat” that the “whole Bearcat thing was his idea.” The former NXT Champion shot down the rumor about him pitching the idea when he posted the following:
“No. It was not. Lol.”
