With all of the returns that have taken place in 2023 you never know who might make their way back to WWE. This week on Friday Night SmackDown a backstage vignette aired showing Karrion Kross talking about some of the big names he’s crossed paths since he returned to the company.

Kross pointed out how he set the hour glass for The Bloodline, and how the group is now falling apart. He said he took away Drew McIntyre’s temperament and now he’s out of control. Kross said he took away Rey Mysterio’s patience to such a degree that he struck his own son in front of his mother. He then said that he took away Shinsuke Nakamura’s honor just for fun.

Karrion Kross then followed up by saying, “Even the greatest proclamation is soon to be forgotten without a scribe. Without authors.” Scarlet then asked, “Do you see the vision?”

Quick shots were then shown of what appeared to be Akam and Rezar’s silhouettes with Paul Ellering standing in the middle. A TV screen was then shown with the words “YOU CANNOT ENDURE” shown on the screen as the vignette came to an end.

It was reported by Fightful months ago that Authors of Pain quietly signed a new deal with WWE in 2022, and more recently it was reported that WWE had plans for the former Raw Tag Team Champions to return to TV soon on the SmackDown brand.
