Karrion Kross quickly became one of the top stars in NXT after he signed a deal with WWE, and it seemed that he was being groomed to make a major impact on the main roster.
However, his WWE career started to fall off the rails when he was called up to the main roster, and after a few weeks his gimmick was changed. Kross started coming to the ring wearing a gladiator helmet, and the look was not well received by the fans.
On Thursday WWE released Karrion Kross along with 17 other talents, and when a fan jokingly pondered if he could have the helmet on Twitter Kross had the following response:
“Nobody wants that piece of s**t brother. 😂”
Kross also posted a video of a cemetery along with a caption saying, “I heard you all the entire time.”
When a fan noted that they were heartbroken over Kross and Scarlett getting released the former NXT Champion had some encouraging words regarding his future.
“Don’t be heart broken my friend. We’re gonna blow your f**kin mind in the near future.”
Karrion Kross will have to wait out his 90 day non-compete clause but he will be a free agent in February.
