Last week there was an interesting story making the rounds about a bar incident in Nashville, TN, that occurred after Raw involving Braun Strowman and Karen Jarrett.
The story goes that Karen approached Braun Strowman in a bar and asked for an autograph for her son, and Braun blew her off not knowing who she was. After finding out she wanted the autograph for Kurt Angle’s son, Strowman allegedly got down on his knees and begged for forgiveness.
Karen Jarrett was asked about the incident during a Global Force Wrestling conference call on Wednesday, and she downplayed the story saying that it was just a silly incident involving two people playing their characters.
“Oh my goodness, I can clear the air. It was a silly incident where you have two people in the wrestling business playing their characters. Being silly and it got blown way out of proportion.”
Bayley is currently the number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship, and she’s set to face Alexa Bliss for the title at SummerSlam. However, Bayley’s title match is now in jeopardy as WWE confirmed she suffered a shoulder injury on Monday Night Raw this week.
The status of her injury is unknown at this point, so it’s possible that she will still be able to compete at SummerSlam. Bayley thanked everyone for their support on Twitter, and you can see what she had to say below.
