For many years Kane was a mainstay on WWE programming, but fans haven’t seen much of him since he shifted his focus to his duties as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
The Undertaker has been a very hot topic in the wrestling world recently as he will be celebrating his 30th anniversary at Survivor Series with his Final Farewell.
Kane is very familiar with The Undertaker, and he recently did an interview with Ryan Satin for WWE on FOX about The Deadman’s career and more. When the subject of a return to the ring came up the former WWE Champion took the never say never approach, but noted that he’s comfortable not being in the ring.
“Well, maybe. I don’t know, it just depends. Like I said, you never say never in WWE. But at the same point in time, I have gotten to the point in my life where I’m comfortable not being in the wrestling ring. It’s hard work. I’ve also gotten to the age where I go a lot of times like, ‘Man, that looks like it hurts.’ I used to be, ‘Man, I wish I could be out there doing that,’ now I’m kind of like, ‘Oh god.’ Those guys are a lot tougher than I am now. But nevertheless, if the opportunity arises. You know, we’ll see.”
