Kane is a WWE veteran, but fans haven’t seen much of the Big Red Machine on WWE programming lately, because he’s focused on becoming the next mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
However, if Kane does win the election that doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t be able to wrestling, as he recently told Pro Wrestling Sheet that he’s not ruling out the possibility of working both jobs.
“I never rule anything out,” Jacobs said. “I think it would be great to have a PPV here in Knoxville. We haven’t had one in forever. If there’s a PPV, it would be an honor for me to take part in that.”
Kane was originally set to be part of the Greatest Royal Rumble a few weeks ago, and he also confirmed that the reason why he didn’t work the show is because he was dealing with a slight injury.
He also talked about the stereotypes that come along with pro wrestling, and noted that he believes the perception of wrestling is changing thanks to names like The Rock and John Cena.
“I don’t think that the wrestling thing is what it once was,” Jacobs said. “We’ve had some people that have been so successful like Dwayne [Johnson] and John Cena doing all the stuff that he’s doing that perception is changing and rightfully so.”
