Kane’s run with WWE has been one of the longest in the history of the company, and he’s worked closely with The Undertaker. Together as the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker ran the tag team division in WWE, but after the events that took place at WrestleMania 33 last Sunday it appears Taker has retired.

Gulf News recently caught up with Kane at Middle East Film And Comic Con 2017, and they asked him about The Undertaker’s big send off at WrestleMania, and he says it feels like a chapter of his career has closed.
“Well, Undertaker can take care of himself! We all knew at some point that was inevitable, but nevertheless it’s, sad because for me it’s like a chapter has closed, and I think a lot of WWE fans feel the same way.”
Kane has been away from the ring for a while now, as he’s been busy focusing on his insurance company and potential political career, but it doesn’t seem like his in ring career is over just yet. When asked about his in ring return he said that he wouldn’t reveal the date even if he did know.
“That is, as we say in the States, TBD, to be determined. And I wouldn’t want to ruin any surprises if I did know…”
Over the course of his career Kane has worked with the best of the best, and he was also asked which guys he think will make an impact in WWE. He praised a few stars on the roster and also named Samoa Joe as someone to keep an eye on.
“I don’t know, because that’s very hard to tell. NXT is a great product and certainly has already had a huge impact on our business. I mean guys like The Shield, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, all these guys who have come through. Samoa Joe of course is going to make a huge impact.”
