WWE has “world” in the name of the company because they’re not only the biggest pro wrestling organization on the planet, but they also feature talent from around the globe. There have been two official wars that span the planet, and unfortunately for Kairi Sane, it looks like World War II might be something that people are bringing up to her like the 29-year-old Superstar had anything to do with it.
At a recent NXT house show apparently, some people were shouting awful things in the direction of Kairi Sane including references to Pearl Harbor among other things. All of these things are stereotypes which shouldn’t be used in this respect at all. They were offensive and obviously, Sane wasn’t the only one who felt these taunts were out of place because some fans in the event felt so strongly about them that they wanted to cause physical violence to whoever was shouting them out.
But the NXT star wasn’t going to let it get to her. She’s traveled around the globe and entertained millions during her time as a pro wrestling star so she obviously realizes the bigger picture. It would be nice if people had the decency and common sense not to yell this kind of thing at other people. But unfortunately, that’s not the world we live in.
But Sane still reacted in probably the best way possible without even saying a word in English or Japanese. Instead, the Mae Young Classic winner sent out a nice little cartoon graphic of a bunch of people holding hands around the world. It is not only a touching reminder that we’re all in this together as members of the human race, but also that Kairi Sane is a professional who isn’t going to let a few irresponsible and ignorant chants get to her.
